SYNC-UP is a motivational app designed for partners, transforming the act of staying focused into a shared and engaging experience. By setting joint “focus time” goals, couples can view each other’s real-time status, creating a powerful sense of mutual accountability and teamwork.
To make the process rewarding, SYNC-UP uses gamification. As you and your partner concentrate, you earn rewards to collectively raise a digital pet, which grows as a direct symbol of your shared dedication. Features like daily streaks and the competitive "Focus Duel" mode keep motivation high.
Beyond productivity, the app strengthens your bond through supportive interactions like sending virtual "cheers" and playful "nudges." It’s a unique platform for couples to build better habits, celebrate shared victories, and grow together in a meaningful way.
The "Hands Free!" campaign is an interactive public installation and video project designed to encourage urban dwellers to momentarily disconnect from their daily distractions. Using a mirrored digital screen at a bus stop, the campaign presents a simple challenge: touch two circles on the screen at the same time.
This clever task requires participants to use both hands, compelling them to voluntarily put down their "dopamine triggers" smartphones, coffee cups, and other items and experience a brief, mindful moment of being present. The accompanying video captures these authentic interactions to spread the message, by freeing our hands, we can also free our minds.

This poster delivers a warning that seemingly minor, everyday addictions like smartphones and coffee are not fundamentally different from serious addictions that require a "Detox."
By juxtaposing a casual image of modern life with a clinical body scan and the phrase "Honestly, I don't see the difference," it highlights the potential dangers of our unconscious habits and calls for moderation.
My Dopamine Diary
I tried first. There’s too much dopamine in our everyday lives—scrolls, snacks, and shortcuts. This project is my attempt to reset.

Insert DOPAMINE

This poster, created for a dopamine detox campaign, visualizes the cycle of overstimulation in modern life. The bold text “INSERT DOPAMINE” mimics the language of arcade machines, suggesting that we continuously “insert” stimulants—coffee, energy drinks, smartphones—into our daily routines for quick hits of pleasure. The background’s vibrant orange and purple gradients symbolize sensory overload, while the monochrome figure collapses under the weight of consumption, marked by a slot on the back as though they themselves have become a machine. Stylized icons of pills, coffee beans, and digital devices reinforce the addictive triggers we carry. The design critiques dependency on dopamine-fueling habits, urging viewers to pause, disconnect, and reclaim control over their attention.
Meet the Pocket syncup — a wearable bracelet and companion that helps friends unplug together. The device combines a cute egg-shaped pet with a soft wrist strap, gentle haptic vibrations for session starts, nudges, and celebrations, and a playful antenna that shares progress instantly when two devices touch. Each focused session grows your pet and unlocks cosmetic rewards; social touch-syncing lets friends compare streaks without screens. Rendered as a tangible 3D prototype, the design emphasizes approachable materials, tactile buttons, and a monochrome pixel display for low distraction. Lightweight and intuitive, it translates digital-detox goals into simple, social rituals—making habit-building feel like play rather than punishment. It’s ideal for classrooms, roommates, or friends who want gentle accountability and offline connection together.
